Improvement Movement Kansas City Concert reviews
Indigo Girls - Another Top Notch Memorable Show!
On the way to the car, my wife and I reminisced about the fantastic performance by Emily and Amy (Improvement Movement) at this amazing venue, accompanied by their skilled backup band (violinist and keyboard/accordion player). We noted how their music has continued to improve over time, becoming more enjoyable with each passing year.
Their genuine passion for their craft is evident in both their songwriting and performances, and their dedicated fan base keeps coming back for more. The joy they exude while on stage is infectious, and their selection of opening acts like Bon Iver, Brandi Carlile, and Mount Moriah has only added to our appreciation for their music.
Although their style differs from the Dead's, we find ourselves drawn to their exceptional harmonies and songwriting, making us eager to attend their shows year after year. It feels like summer isn't complete until we see the Indigo Girls perform, and we look forward to many more summers enjoying their music.
We were delighted to hear a new song from their upcoming album, set for release in October, and it sounds like it will be a strong addition to their discography.
